PAYMENT OF TOUR: Non refundable deposit of $500 per person to hold your place on the tour.

Early Bird tour price is based on receiving deposit by February 21, 2024. Tour price increases February 21, 2024. Balance for the tour is due no later than March 1, 2024. Balances paid after this date will be subject to a $100 late fee per person.

ARRIVAL: For the Full Tour, our first official event will be dinner on Wednesday, April 24 at 6PM. We depart for the Cajun trip Monday morning at 9AM, April 29 from the lobby of the Royal Sonesta Hotel. If you are coming on the “Cajun Only” portion of the trip, you must meet us by this time or you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to Eunice and joining the tour there. No refund can be made for any activities you may have missed.

FULL TOUR INCLUDES: The Full Tour is from April 24- May 4, 2024, ending after breakfast on May 4. It includes 8 nights hotels in New Orleans French Quarter and the Cajun Country, 3 course Welcome Dinner with appetizers & full bar in New Orleans plus all transportation, events and all meals in the Cajun Country (except lunch Tuesday, April 30).

CAJUN COUNTRY ONLY TOUR: The Cajun Only Tour includes 2 nights accommodation in the Cajun Country and all food and events in the Cajun Country (except lunch on Tuesday April 30).

SHARING A ROOM: If you are traveling by yourself and wish to share a twin room, we will be happy to try to arrange a suitable roommate for you. This is usually not a problem and can actually add to your enjoyment of the trip. Although it rarely happens, if a roommate is not available, you will be required to pay the single supplement of $1199 for the Full Tour or $200 for the Cajun Only Tour.

JAZZ FEST TICKETS: After 50 years of similar pricing structure, Jazz Fest changed it all! There are so many ticket options  that we do not  include Festival tickets in our tour package, which saves you money and gives  you the freedom to design  your own Festival experience. Remember, Jazz Fest never sells out so if you want to be totally spontaneous you can always buy tickets at the gate (for a higher price).

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & FOOD RESTRICTIONS: Festival Tours International accepts people in good health who are capable of attending the activities we plan. (This includes walking in the countryside on uneven ground and stepping onto a boat for our swamp trip) . However, it is helpful to us to be aware of your health conditions or allergies, although we cannot take responsibility for them. Whenever possible, we will ask for vegetarian meals if requested. Please be aware that in certain circumstances, such as the BBQ and the crawfish boil on the Cajun trip, there are no alternatives available and you will need to provide alternate food yourself. (We will stop at a store in Eunice so you can supplement if you wish).

CANCELLATION POLICY: ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING BY THE DEADLINE.

There is a $500 cancellation fee before March 1, 2024.

100% of the tour price will be nonrefundable as of March 2, 2024 although this may be covered by travel and trip cancellation insurance. We highly recommend this. There can be no partial refund for unused rooms, tickets, etc.

Prices are based on a minimum of 25 people traveling. Although this rarely happens, the tour price is subject to an increase if numbers fall short of this minimum.

COVID 19 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT We will follow any local guidelines in place at the time of the tour. Tour members voluntarily assume all risks and related expenses in the event that they or any member of their traveling party requires testing or quarantine, become infected with COVID 19 or experience travel interruption or delays.

In the unlikely event the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is cancelled we will refund your tour money, less $150 processing fee. If you choose to have a credit for next year’s Louisiana Tour we will put the full amount of your trip towards the 2025 Louisiana tour.

TRAVEL INSURANCE/MEDICAL INSURANCE: We strongly advise you to protect yourself with Travel Insurance, available from any travel agency. Festival Tours International does not provide this service. Medical insurance which covers travel to and within Louisiana is suggested.
